Image
2011 has arrived. Time to start over again. Good thing we started the year with some good family time. Playing the WII and the a great sledding session. Kalei and Hala'i showed Kahoa how. But she schooled them in the end cause he was the last man standing. He even face planted and could have cared less cause he got right back up. He's is such a boy cause he is such his daddys boy.

Happy Halloween 2010

So another Halloween has come and dang it is cold. The girls were way excited to get dressed up and go trick or treating. I love that they are old enough to get excited. We all got dressed up and had our fun. Even Kaai's brothers got into it, Uncle Fafaea and PuPu Laka got all dolled up for trick or treating. hahaha!!!! It was nothing like home but the kids had fun and that's all that matters.

10 New things about our 10 month old.... 1. Hala'i has her first tooth. Her front left tooth came out May 5th and she has loved playing with it everyday. 2. She can crawl as fast as we can walk. It took her a little while to get up on all 4's but once it did it was over, nothing has bee safe since. 3. She lovers to talk...or atleaset try to talk. She can may "mama" and "dada" and even "baba". It is pretty funny to hear her go on and on in the morning when she wakes up, "mamamamama, dadadada, mamama" 'slap' as she trys to wake you up. 4. She has her own big girl chair to sit in now to eat her food. She loves a good snack and she definetly knows when it is dinner time. 5. She has figured out how to climb up the stairs. At first she didn't really care but now we can't keep her off of them. 6. She can wave Hello and Goodbye. 7. She has learned to give kisses when you ask her for one. I like to tell her 'Honihoni mama...

T-Ball for Kalei

Image
Kalei played her first T-Ball game today. It was really cute to watch all the kids. They all just run all over the field chasing the ball. Kalei had a lot of fun. I am glad that we got her involved in something. It should be a fun season. Kalei up to bat. She was the only kool one that had her own helmet with her shaka sticker on the front.

Time to Get Involved!

I am so excited that Kalei is now old enough for me to sign her up for stuff. Being 3 is a good age. So first on our list is tumbling. It was just through the Jordan School District and only $25 bucks... but Kalei has really enjoyed it and enjoyed having something to look forward to. They learned how to do their summersaults and then they practice back walk overs and front walk overs. They even have done some cartwheels. It is sad thatit is almost over but next on the agenda is T-Ball. Should be good.

Happy B-Lated Everything!!

Ok so once again I have failed at this whole blogging thing. I missed every major holiday the year had to offer, and I even missed my daughters birthday. I AM SO FIRED!!! Anyway here is a breif recap so maybe I can redeem myself... SO for christmas I only took video (cause i'm kinda dumb), but they are way to long to post. It was a really nice holiday though. This year wa really different because Kalei actually got excited about what she got. We bought her a scooter and she loved it, plus a basketball hoop which was equally as thrilling when we finally opened it. Hala'i pretty much just like the wrapping paper instead of the gift. As to have been expected. We felt very blessed this christmas mostly just to be together and enjoy the day. IN between Christmas and New Years, Kaai's sister Polly and her boys Seth and Kena came to visit. It was a fu to have visitors especially since it snowed like crazy and they were freezing the whole time. This is everyone on the top of the h...

A Blessing For Hala'i...

Image
We were finally able to bless Hala'i. It only took 4 months to get the grandparents here to be part of the circle, but with a little bit of faith and a good prayer it all fell into place. I have to say Thank you to my mom and dad for taking a two day journey to Utah special to make it happen. Thanks to my father-in-law for also taking the time to come up for two days just to be part of the circle. Thanks to Uncle Keli'i and Uncle Kendall and Fam for sharing that special moment with our family, and for sharing their preisthood with us. But mostly Thank you to my husband for keeping himself worthy to excersise his preisthood in the way that the Lord intended. A fathers blessing is always the most special. The Little Girl of the Hour... Always gotta have something in her mouth. The circle... Grandpa Ursua, Uncle Kendall, Bishop Slater, Grandpa Frandsen, Daddy, Hala'i and Uncle Keli'i Grandma and Grandpa Ursua... Gummy and Papa Frandsen Our Little Family... Kaleila'a, ...

Happy 4 Months Hala'i! Ok so Hala'i actually turned 4 months like a couple weeks ago and will be 5 months next week I really wanted to put write about all the new stuff she is doing lately that is just too cute. = She laughs... and not just a haha kind of laugh but Kalei can really get her going and it is so funny to watch. = =She is starting to move... Since she has learned to roll over she has also started to learn to move. Mostly backwards or sideways but it can be fun to watch when she is trying to get her hands on something. = = She has learned to hold her bottle. When she wants it bad enough she will grab it and hold it all by herself. Gotta teach um young...= Here is to whatever may come next!!

Long Time No Write...

**Ok so I totally suck cause I have not updated this thing in like month... But here is an update in photos of the lastest that has been happening. ** We got to spend Halloween in Kona with my family... Kalei was Tinkerbell and Hala'i was a punpkin. Kalei had fun although she kept it short (thankgoodness) and Hala'i feel asleep before we even finished looking at the candy. We got to watch uncle Nai'a and uncle John play the last home game of the season and win it in over time. It was an awesome game and I was soooo happy that I could be there to support my brothers. Kalei was excited to watch uncle play football. Now that it is over she is still telling me we have to go to the game. I got to take the girls to the beach. It was Hala'i's first time and she liked the water. We went to Keiki ponds so it was mellow enough to play. Kalei even made a little friend while we were there. Even this she is still asking to go the beach... I wish! Kalei got to play with Uncle Nai...
